About Me
Nic Nifoussi — Musician, Producer & Multi-Instrumentalist Born and raised in Los Angeles, Nic Nifoussi picked up the bass at 14 and started playing shows around North Hollywood with his first band. That early project eventually evolved into Automatic 7, launching a career that would take him around the world and across decades of recording and live performance. In 1995, shortly after graduating high school, Automatic 7 signed with BYO Records and released their self-titled debut album, kicking off an extensive touring career. The band shared stages and toured with some of punk rock’s most influential acts, including Bad Religion, Social Distortion, Face to Face, Bouncing Souls, Youth Brigade, DOA, Unwritten Law, and The Suicide Machines. They also performed alongside artists such as Rocket From the Crypt, Reverend Horton Heat, John Doe, SNFU, A New Found Glory, Sick of It All, MxPx, Robbie Krieger, and Love & Rockets. Automatic 7 later signed with A&M Records and recorded an album with renowned producer Ron St. Germain at Long View Farm Studios in Massachusetts. The band went on to release three additional records through Vagrant Records and other independent labels. In 2006, Nic formed Killing Bees, a two-piece project with Automatic 7 drummer Ray, featuring Nic on bass and lead vocals. Around the same time, he began recording and touring with artists including Lady Sinatra and Krashkarma, further expanding his musical range and experience. In 2014, Nic joined Dee Snider’s touring band on bass. From 2014 through 2018, he toured internationally with the Twisted Sister frontman, performing on stages around the world. Since 2018, Nic has continued to work across a variety of musical projects, including Countless Thousands. He has played on and produced recordings for artists such as Glass Kitten, Bourbon Saints, and Lullygag, among others. A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Nic has also contributed guitar, drums, keyboards, accordion, and vocals to numerous recordings and live performances. With more than three decades of experience on the road, in the studio, and on stage, Nic Nifoussi remains an active and in-demand musician, producer, and collaborator.
